Easy to install
Fiat 500 key covers are an simple way to update your car keys. You can choose from a variety of styles and colors to find one that matches your style. They can be installed by yourself in ten minutes. You'll need a screwdriver, and some patience. The first step is to remove the previous cover from your key. It must be removed before the new cover can be put in place.
Once you have removed the old cover Use a flathead screwdriver to pull out the four main attachment clips located on the side that is on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked in red on the image below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots shown in yellow that need to be disconnected also.
Replace the battery with a #CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is pointing to the opening in the fob, and that the -" negative side is facing towards the buttons made of rubber.
Attach the cover for the passenger side mirror by aligning the locating tabs. Once you have completed this, insert the fob that is on the driver's side back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is functioning properly, the parking lights should be activated and the doors should automatically close.
